The Keener Farms Truck Series Kroger 200 race at Martinsville Speedway started with Doug Hess capturing the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. Steve McKlin gained 20 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Doug Hess led the most laps with 114,going on to capture the win by fuel strategy. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 5 cautions with 6 lead changes and there were 10 disqualifications and 3 disconnects in a 32 truck field. The race ended with Doug Hess capturing his 1st win of the season with Jeff Gilmore finishing 2nd, Eddie Jones nabbing 3rd and Jim Westerfield finishing 4th.

This week the Keener Farms Truck Series moves to the Texas Longhorn 350 race at Texas Motor Speedway with the current points leader Chris Monroe looking to maintain the lead in the series.

The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?

We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time.

In the Keener Farms Truck Series points championship Mike Schrader 2nd, Dwayne McArthur 3rd, Thomas Ogle 4th and Vernon Margheim in 5th.

The Texas race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
