The OBRL iRacer’s Lounge Podcast ARCA Series Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 night race at Daytona Int’l Speedway started with Patrick Skahill capturing the pole and David Trainer recording the fastest lap of the race. Tony Groves gained 32 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Patrick Skahill led 24 laps, with Doug Hess going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 2 cautions with 14 lead changes, as there were 2 disqualifications with 6 disconnects in a 43 car field ending with Doug Hess capturing his 2nd win of the season with Patrick Skahill finishing 2nd, Greg Hecktus 3rd and Richard Springer in 4th.

This week the OBRL iRacer’s Lounge Podcast ARCA Series moves to the LTI Printing 250 race at Michigan Int’l Speedway with the current points leader Mike Schrader looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series.

The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?

We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:10 pm Eastern time.
