The OBRL Ailogs ARCA Series Lucas Oil 200 race at Dover Int’l Speedway started with Richard Springer capturing the pole and Eddie Jones recording the fastest lap of the race. Gael Brooks gained 20 spots to win the Hard Charger Award. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Richard Springer led 51 laps, with Eddie Jones going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 3 cautions with 11 lead changes, as there were 2 disqualifications with 2 disconnects in a 32 car field ending with Eddie Jones capturing his 1st win of the season with Brian Glass finishing 2nd, Kevin Rupert 3rd and Jerrad Daniels in 4th.
This week the OBRL Ailogs ARCA Series moves to the Lilly Diabetes 250 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the current points leader Dwayne McArthur looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:10 pm Eastern time.
In the OBRL Ailogs ARCA Series points standings, Chris Monroe 2nd, Kevin Pearson in 3rd, Jason Swann 4th and Eddie Jones in 5th.
The Indy race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
