The Xfinity 40 Week Series Zippo 200 race at Watkins Glen Int’l – Cup Circuit started with Kent “Big Time” Connolly Driving the 08 Bama Roll Tide Chevy on the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. John Hastings gained 10 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Kent “Big Time” Connolly and Dwayne McArthur Driving the #67 RideTV.com Camry led the most laps with 23, with Kent “Big Time” Connolly going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 6 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 2 disconnects in a 18 car field The race ended with Kent “Big Time” Connolly capturing his 5th win of the season, with Dwayne McArthur taking 2nd, Mike Schrader in 3rd and Joel Kilburn nabbing 4th.

This week the Xfinity Series moves to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with the current points leader Mike Schrader looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?

In the Xfinity 40 Week Series points championship Kent “Big Time” Connolly in 2nd, Joel Kilburn 3rd Brian Glass in 4th and Dwayne McArthur in 5th.

We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.

The Mid-Ohio race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
