Kel Butler

Kel is an IT Technician for UBEO West. He spent much of the 80’s and early 90’s building and selling personalized PC’s that would beat any store bought product both in price and performance. When the ‘Big Box’ store boom made it difficult to compete, he gave it up.

Kel sings and plays bass in a band he started with his drummer brother, ‘Sierra Express’. They have entertained in the Northern Nevada / Lake Tahoe area for over 25 years.
A brain cancer diagnosis for his brother brought the music train to a screeching halt. “I just can’t see myself playing music with anyone else.”

Kel is new to iRacing in 2020 out of shear boredom, and has dove in completely. With a Trackracer TR80 rig, triple monitors, and always looking for the next upgrade.

“I may not win, but I sure have a lot of fun running. I think OBRL is the place for me.”
