The Fast Lane Racing Xfinity 40 Week Series My Bariatric Solutions 300 race at Texas Motor Speedway started with Steven Mattocks on the pole and Dan DeNayer setting the fastest lap of the race. Sean Beyer gained 7 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Dan DeNayer led the most laps with 90, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 9 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 2 disconnect in a 13 car field The race ended with Dan DeNayer capturing his 1st win of the season, Mike Schrader taking 2nd, Jimmy Todd in 3rd and Brian Glass nabbing 4th.
This week the Xfinity Series moves to the Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway with the current points leader Kent “Big Time” Connolly looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Fast Lane Racing?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.
In the Xfinity 40 Week Series points championship Mike Schrader in 2nd, Bruce Pearson 3rd Joel Kilburn in 4th and Jimmy Todd in 5th.
The Bristol race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
