The OBRL 12 Week STRS Seat Time Racing School GN Series DC Nationwide Children’s 200 road race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course started with Professional Podcaster Greg Hecktus and iRacers Lounge Celebrity Co-Host on the pole and Ed Adams setting the fastest lap of the race. Ed Adams gained 16 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Greg Hecktus led the most laps with 21, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 9 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 2 disconnects in a 24 car field. The race ended with Poutine Eating Canadian Greg Hecktus capturing his 1st win of the season, with Dwayne McArthur taking 2nd, Ed Adams 3rd and Mike Schrader nabbing 4th.
This week the OBRL 12 Week Seat Time Racing School GN Series moves to the Fred’s Pharmacy 250 race at Talladega SuperSpeedway with the current leader Kevin Rupert looking for ways to maintain his lead in the Series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.
