The Nascar Camping World Truck Winn Dixie 300 at Talladega SuperSpeedway race started with Tim Mathews capturing the pole and Dean Ayer setting the fastest lap of the race. Harry Dodd gained 16 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. John Hastings led the most laps with 17, with Harry Dodd going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good communication, which resulted in no cautions with 10 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 1 disconnect in a 20 truck field. The race ended with Harry Dodd capturing his 1st win of the season with Niels Clyde finishing 2nd, Jeffery Merck nabbing 3rd and John Hastings finishing 4th.
This week the Nascar Camping World Truck Series moves to the Lucas Oil 300 at Lucas Oil Raceway with the current points leader Steven Thomson #67 Ride TV Tundra looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
