The ARCA Kroger 200 race at Martinsville Speedway started with David Gallion capturing the pole and Steven Thomson Driver of the Number 67 Ride TV Racing Camry recording the fastest lap of the race. John Hastings gained 9 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Steven Thomson No. 67 RideTV Racing led the most laps with 102, having to make a fuel stop late, allowing John Hastings to go on and get the win. This week the drivers displayed good communication, resulting in 5 cautions with 4 lead changes as there were no disqualifications with 4 disconnects in a 12 car field ending with John Hastings capturing his 1st win of the season with Bruce Pearson finishing 2nd, Tony Romack 3rd and Kim Quick in 4th
This week the ARCA Series moves to the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona Int’l Speedway with the current points leader Steven Thomson #67 Ride TV Racing looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
