The ARCA Series Driving for Lineman 200 race at Daytona Int’l Speedway started with Brian Glass Grabbing the Marc Cohn Pole and Ken Huff recording the fastest lap of the race. David Trainer gained 16 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Brian Glass, Michael Hensley & Ken Schulz all led 14 laps, with Ken Schulz going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 1 caution with 21 lead changes as there were no disqualifications with 3 disconnects in a 21 car field ending with Ken Schulz capturing his 1st win of the season with Mike Schrader finishing 2nd, Niels Clyde 3rd and David Trainer in 4th
This week the ARCA Series is at the Zombie Auto 150 race at Brands Hatch – Indy road circuit with the current points leader Mike Schrader looking for ways to maintain his lead in the EVERY series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time. In the ARCA Series points championship Eddie Jones in 2nd, Billy Wise 3rd, Brian Glass 4th and Robert Vining in 5th.
The Brands Hatch race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
