The Old Bastards ARCA DC Solar 200 at Phoenix Int’l Raceway Fast Line Racing started with Mike Schrader capturing the pole and Marc Cohn recording the fastest lap of the fast line racing race. Billy Wise gained 4 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Marc Cohn led the most laps with 70, going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 1 caution with 7 lead changes as there was 1 disqualification with 3 disconnects in a 16 car field ending with Marc Cohn capturing his 3rd win of the season Fast Line Racing with Mike Schrader finishing 2nd, Eddie Jones 3rd and Brian Glass in 4th
This week the ARCA Series moves to the Irwindale 200 at Irwindale Speedway with the current points leader Marc Cohn looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time. In the ARCA Series points championship Niels Clyde in 2nd, Mike Schrader 3rd, Eddie Jones 4th and Bruce Pearson in 5th.
The Irwindale race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
