The ARCA US Cellular 250 night race at Iowa Speedway started with Dan DeNayer #30 Textron Aviation Sponsored Car capturing the pole and Marc Cohn recording the fastest lap of the race. Bobby McCormick gained 21 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Marc Cohn #75 Babe Ruth Chevy Led the most laps with 60, going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good communication, resulting in 5 cautions with 7 lead changes as there was no disqualifications with 4 disconnects in a 28 car field ending with Marc Cohn capturing his 1st win of the season with Niels Clyde finishing 2nd, Bobby McCormick 3rd and Gary Corbett in 4th
This week the ARCA Series moves to the Chevys Fresh Mex 200 for a road race at Sonoma Raceway with the current points leader Marc Cohn looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
