The Keener Farms Truck Series Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway started with Mike Franklin capturing the pole  and leading 40 Trucks to the Green Flag!  Adam Disselkamp set  the fastest lap of the race. Erich Braentner gained 21 spots for the most positions gained bonus and to win the “Hard Charger Award”. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Mike Franklin led the most laps with 41, with Vernon Margheim going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 2 cautions with 10 lead changes and there were 4 disqualifications and 7 disconnects in a 40 truck field. The race ended with Vernon Margheim capturing his 1st win of the season with Chris Monroe finishing 2nd, Mike Franklin nabbing 3rd and Mike May finishing 4th.

This week the Keener Farms Truck Series moves to the Menard’s 250 race at Michigan Int’l Speedway with the current points leader Vernon Margheim looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time.

In the Truck Series points championship Chris Monroe is 2nd, Mike May 3rd, Shane Norton 4th and Don Phelps in 5th.

The Michigan race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
