Possibly the oldest rookie driver in the history of Motorsports, Bill retired after 49 years in the fire service. After serving 23 years with the Los Angeles City Fire Department (8 years a firefighter and 15 years an Arson Investigator) he spent another 26 years as a private fire/arson investigator serving the insurance industry and legal profession. At age 70, too old to continue digging out fire scenes but too young to retire, he opened a The UPS Store #6401 in Santa Clarita, California.
Long time friend Dwayne McArthur, recently introduced Bill to iRacing and to The Old Bastards Racing League. With no prior experience with auto racing his short term goal is to attend as many practice sessions as possible to see if old dogs can learn new tricks.
