The ARCA night race at Bristol Motor Speedway started with Mike Schrader capturing the pole and recording the fastest lap of the race. Steven Thomson Driver of the #67 RIDE TV Camry gained 13 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Mike Schrader dominated the race by leading the most laps with 72, with Steven Thomson taking the lead on a late caution going on to capture the win. This week the drivers displayed good communication, resulting in 4 cautions with 6 lead changes as there were no disqualifications with 1 disconnect in a 14 car field ending with Steven Thomson capturing his 1st win of the season with Mike Schrader finishing 2nd, Dode Hoskins 3rd and newcomer Chance Latiolias in 4th

This week the ARCA Series moves to a road race for the Zippo 200 at the Glen at Watkins Glen Int’l – Boot with the current points leader Steven Thomson looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:35 am Eastern time. In the ARCA Series points championship Mike Schrader in 2nd, Dode Hoskins 3rd, John Hastings 4th and Chance Latiolias in 5th.
