The Xfinity Hisense 200 race at Dover Int’l Speedway started with Jeffery Merck on the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. Kenney Kulikowski gained 8 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Donnie Sanders led the most laps with 44, but in the end Mike Schrader Piloting the #4 Ford Mustang for Sponsor Busch Beer went on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good communication, which resulted in 1 caution with 8 lead changes and there was no disqualifications and 2 disconnects in a 11 car field The race ended with Mike Schrader capturing his 3rd win of the series, Kenney Kulikowski taking 2nd, Donnie sanders in 3rd and Bruce Pearson nabbing 4th.
This week the Xfinity Series moves to the US Cellular 250 night race at Iowa Speedway with the current points leader Mike Schrader looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
