The OBRL Go Creative TV Truck Series Lucas Oil 225 night race at Lucas Oil Raceway started with Vernon Margheim capturing the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. James Brooks gained 24 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Chris Monroe led 47 laps, with Kevin Dillon going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 2 cautions with 3 lead changes and there were no disqualification and 3 disconnects in a 35 truck field. The race ended with Kevin Dillon capturing his 2nd win of the season with Vernon Margheim finishing 2nd, Dwayne McArthur nabbing 3rd and Josh Culley finishing 4th.
This week the OBRL Go Creative TV Truck Series moves to the Dollar General 300 race at Chicagoland Speedway with the current points leader Chris Monroe looking to maintain the lead in the series.The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time.
