OBRL Driving School
School Instructors: Michael Schrader (Basic & Advance), Steven Thomson (Basic) & Niels Clyde (Road)

The OBRL Driving School offers a unique chance for drivers looking to improve their driving skills and race-craft. Work with instructors to ask questions about any facet of driving to work on any race related topic in a very relaxed atmosphere.

The schools (Basic, Advance and Road driving classes) will also provide drivers on probation the necessary tools and skills to help them improve and overcome problem area needed for good race-craft.

OBRL Basic Driving School is used to teach and improve on proper race-craft with basics to intermediate levels of driving skills. The school will start with a short discussion on proper techniques, followed by question and answers, then on to the track to practice and ingrain the proper techniques. The school will go into a short practice session, followed by a bunch of Heat Races followed with lots of instruction and tips. We will be use the car and track of the scheduled practice session that day.

The OBRL Basic Driving School will feature the following:

• How to race in traffic
• Holding your line
• How to set up a pass
• Getting comfortable with the wall
• Where is the right & left side of the car

This is a perfect chance to get some help with your driving skills from experienced drivers. Learn and enjoy in a non-pressured environment to experience proper race-craft, while practicing on how to implement it. This is for anyone looking to improve their racing skills no matter what level they are at. Ask questions on any and all driving difficulties.

There will be drivers willing to help and answer any questions you may have. If there are crashes during the heat races we can go back and review the video replay and walk through what should have been done differently to avoid the incident or situation.

Everyone is welcome, even if you just want to practice and run the heat races

OBRL Advance Driving School is used to teach and improve on proper race-craft with more advanced level of driving skills. This will be setup as more of a one on one or small group coaching sessions. The school will start with a short discussion on proper techniques, followed by question and answers, then on to the track to practice and ingrain the proper techniques. The classes will allow drivers to ask for help in any area the driver needs attention, The school will feature lots of instruction and tips. We will be use the car and track of the scheduled practice session that day.

OBRL Advanced Driving School will feature the following:

• Proper diving line
• Entry and Exit of corners
• Chassis Balance
• Proper Throttle and Brake Usage
• Trail Braking
• Wheel & Brake settings
• Proper pit entrance and exit
• Address any other problems or need advice

Again this is another perfect chance to get some help to improve your driving skills from experienced drivers. Learn and enjoy in a non-pressured environment to experience proper race-craft, while practicing on how to implement it. This is for anyone looking to improve their advance racing skills no matter what level they are at. Ask questions on any and all driving difficulties.

Remember there will be drivers willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Again also in the advance session if there are crashes during the heat races we can go back and review the video replay and walk through what should have been done differently to avoid the incident or situation.
