The Xfinity 40 Week Series Rinnai 250 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway started with Steven Mattocks on the pole and Matthew Siegl setting the fastest lap of the race. David Desjardins gained 28 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Aaron Corey led the most laps with 62, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good communication, which resulted in 5 cautions with 6 lead changes and there was 1 disqualifications and 10 disconnect in a 38 car field The race ended with Aaron Corey capturing his 1st win of the season, Matthew Siegl taking 2nd, Brian Glass in 3rd and Tony Romack nabbing 4th.

This week the Xfinity Series moves to the Boyd Gaming 300 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the current points leader Aaron Corey looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
