The OBRL K&N Pro Hemp Shack National Series Zombie Auto 150 night race at Bristol Motor Speedway started with Greg Stafford capturing the pole and Steve Thomson recording the fastest lap of the race. Peter Kopko gained 19 spots to win the Hard Charger Award. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Steve Thomson led all 117 laps, going on to take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 3 cautions with 1 lead change, as there were 2 disqualifications with 3 disconnects in an 23 car field ending with Steve Thomson capturing his 3rd win of the season with Kevin Rupert finishing 2nd, Peter Kopko 3rd and Mike Schrader in 4th.

This week the OBRL K&N Pro Hemp Shack National Series Playoffs 2nd round is at the Virginia 529 250 night race at Richmond Raceway with the current points leader Chris Monroe looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
