The OBRL Keener Farms Truck Series Ford EcoBoost 400 race at Homestead-Miami Speedway started with Vernon Margheim capturing the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. Bud Clonch gained 21 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Charles Idell led the most laps with 49, with Vernon Margheim going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 2 cautions with 7 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 7 disconnects in a 37 truck field. The race ended with Vernon Margheim capturing his 3rd win of the season with Dwayne McArthur finishing 2nd, Charles Idell nabbing 3rd and Kevin Rupert finishing 4th.
This week the OBRL Keener Farms Truck Series Chase Playoffs continues with the Myrtle Beach 250 race at Myrtle Beach Speedway with the current points leader Vernon Margheim looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
