The 2019 OBRL Seat Time Racing School Grand Nationals One Main Financial 200 race at Dover Int’l Speedway started with Terry Griffie on the pole and Josh Mayeu setting the fastest lap of the race. Bobby McCormick gained 13 spots to win the Hard Charger Award. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Josh Mayeu led 53 laps, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 8 lead change and there were no disqualifications and 1 disconnect in a 24 car field. The race ended with Josh Mayeu capturing his 3rd win of the season, with Joel Kilburn taking 2nd, Ed Adams 3rd and Dwayne McArthur nabbing 4th.
This week the OBRL Seat Time Racing School Grand Nationals moves to the Kansas Lottery 300 night race at Kansas Speedway with the current leader Joel Kilburn looking for ways to maintain his lead in the Series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.
In the OBRL Seat Time Racing School Grand Nationals points standings, Josh Mayeu 2nd, Dwayne McArthur in 3rd, Kent Connolly 4th and Ed Adams in 5th.
The Kansas night race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
