Old Bastard Driver Marc Cohn is continuing to totally dominate the Old Bastards Racing League ARCA Series winning his 4th Race out of 5 Races this Season and his second in a row. The ARCA Irwindale 200 at Irwindale Speedway started with Marc Cohn capturing the pole and Eddie Jones recording the fastest lap of the race. Billy Wise gained 5 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Marc Cohn led the most laps with 73, going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed good race-craft, resulting in 1 caution with 6 lead changes as there was 1 disqualification with no disconnects in a 14 car field ending with Marc Cohn capturing his 4th win of the season with Eddie Jones finishing 2nd, Thomas Allmon 3rd and Bruce Pearson in 4th
This week the ARCA Series moves to the Hisense 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the current points leader Marc Cohn looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time. In the ARCA Series points championship Niels Clyde in 2nd,Mike Schrader 3rd, Eddie Jones 4th and Bruce Pearson in 5th.
The Charlotte race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
