The OBRL Go Creative TV Truck Series DC Solar 200 road race at Lime Rock Park started with Matt Switzer capturing the pole and Jeff Wubker setting the fastest lap of the race. Gary Corbett gained 18 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Scotty Johnson led the most laps with 53, going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 4 lead changes and there was 1 disqualification and 6 disconnects in a 41 truck field. The race ended with Scotty Johnson capturing his 1st win of the season with Josh Culley finishing 2nd, Chris Monroe nabbing 3rd and Chris James finishing 4th.
This week the OBRL Go Creative TV Truck Series moves to the Jacobs 200 night race at Five Flags Speedway with the current points leader Chris Monroe looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time.
