The Keener Farms Truck Series US Cellular 250 race at Iowa Speedway started with Kevin Rupert capturing the pole and setting the fastest lap of the race. Adam Disselkamp gained 16 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Kevin Rupert led the most laps with 76, going on to capture the win by fuel strategy. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 4 cautions with 6 lead changes and there were 2 disqualifications and 2 disconnects in a 33 truck field. The race ended with Kevin Rupert capturing his 1st win of the season with Zach Calloway finishing 2nd, L Bryce Whitson Jr nabbing 3rd and Steve McKlin finishing 4th.

This week the Keener Farms Truck Series moves to the Fred’s Pharmacy 250 race at Talladega SuperSpeedway with the current points leader Chris Monroe looking to maintain the lead in the series.

The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?

We shall see when the green flag drops at 9:05 pm Eastern time.

In the Truck Series points championship Dwayne McArthur is 2nd, Thomas Ogle 3rd, Mike Schrader 4th and Vernon Margheim in 5th.

The Talladega race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
