The Xfinity Fred’s Pharmacy 250 race at Talladega SuperSpeedway started with Jason Schrader on the pole and Jon Waters setting the fastest lap of the race. Kenney Kulikowski gained 11 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Mike Schrader led the most laps with 21, with Kenney Kulikowski going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good communication, which resulted in no cautions with 23 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and no disconnects in a 14 car field The race ended with Kenney Kulikowski capturing his 1st win of the series, Mike Schrader taking 2nd, Bob Wells in 3rd and Kent Connolly nabbing 4th.
This week the Xfinity Series moves to the Lucas Oil 300 race at Lucas Oil Raceway with the current points leader Kenney Kulikowski looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
