The Truck Series Dollar General 300 night race at Lucas Oil Raceway started with Dwayne McArthur Driver of the #67 RideTV.com Toyota Tundra capturing the pole and Chris Monroe setting the fastest lap of the race. Joey Geiser & Joel Kilburn gained 12 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Joel Kilburn led the most laps with 62, going on to capture the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in 5 cautions with 7 lead changes and there were 6 disqualifications and 4 disconnects in a 19 truck field. The race ended with Joel Kilburn Driver of the #40 Coors Light Silverado capturing his 1st win of the season with Chris Monroe finishing 2nd, Joey Geiser nabbing 3rd and Josh Robinson finishing 4th.
