The Ol Bastard Kent “Big Time” Connolly Wins his 2nd Xfinity Race in a Row!. The Ol’ Bastard Xfinity 40 Week Series Toyota Care 250 night race at Richmond Raceway started with Mike “2nd Place” Schrader on the pole and Kent “Big Time” Connolly setting the fastest lap of the race. Kent “Big Time” Connolly gained 9 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Mike Schrader led the most laps with 90, with Kent “Big Time” Connolly going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 8 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and no disconnects in a 15 car field The race ended with Kent Connolly capturing his 2nd win of the season and 2nd Race in a Row, Mike “2nd Place” Schrader taking 2nd, Jimmy “Lil Time” Todd in 3rd and Daniel Berghoff nabbing 4th.

This week the Xfinity Series moves to the Spark Energy 3000 at Talladega SuperSpeedway with the current points leader Kent Connolly looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Ol Bastards?

We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.

In the Xfinity 40 Week Series points championship Mike Schrader in 2nd, Jimmy Todd 3rd Brian Glass in 4th and Joel Kilburn in 5th.

The Talladega race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
