The ARCA Virginia 529 College Savings 250 night race at Richmond Int’l Raceway started with Mike Schrader capturing the pole and recording the fastest lap of the race. David Trainer gained 12 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Steven Thomson racing the #67 Ride TV Racing Toyota Camry led the most laps with 58, going on take the win. This week the drivers displayed poor communication, resulting in 8 cautions with 4 lead changes as there was no disqualifications with 3 disconnects in a 19 car field ending with Steven Thomson racing the #67 Ride TV Racing Toyota Camry capturing his 3rd win of the season with Jon Waters finishing 2nd, Niels Clyde 3rd and Kim Quick in 4th

This week the ARCA Series heads to Busch North Throwback 250 night race at Thompson Speedway, where the remaining 6 divers will battle it out to be crowned the ARCA Series Playoff Champion.

The Thompson race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
