The ARCA Lucas Oil 200 race at Daytona Int’l Speedway started with Matthew Gibbs capturing the pole and Jeffrey Merck recording the fastest lap of the race. Ted Quincel #84 Navy Sponsored Chevy gained 19 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Matthew Gibbs led the most laps with 20, having to make a fuel stop late, going on and get the win. This week the drivers displayed good communication, resulting in 3 cautions with 15 lead changes as there were no disqualifications with 8 disconnects in a 23 car field ending with new comer Matthew Gibbs capturing his 1st win of the season with Ted Quincel finishing 2nd, Dan DeNayer 3rd and Dakota Pichke in 4th

This week the ARCA Series moves to the Dollar General 300 at Five Flags Speedway with the current points leader Steven Thomson Driver of the Number 67 Ride TV Racing Camry looking for ways to maintain his lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
