The OBRL 12 Week Seat Time Racing School Grand ARCA Series Rinnai 250 race at Atlanta Motor Speedway started with Bill Benedict on the pole and Nick Thames setting the fastest lap of the race. Bobby McCormick gained 19 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Nick Thames led the most laps with 90, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good race-craft, which resulted in no cautions with 5 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and 1 disconnect in a 31 car field The race ended with Nick Thames capturing his 1st win of the season, with Michael Moorley taking 2nd, Joel Kilburn in 3rd and Mike Schrader nabbing 4th.

This week the OBRL 12 Week Seat Time Racing School GN Series moves to the US Cellular 250 night race at Iowa Speedway with the current leader Michael Moorley looking for ways to maintain his lead in the Series.

The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?

We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.

In the OBRL 12 Week Seat Time Racing School GN Series points championship, Ed Adams in 2nd, Kevin Rupert 3rd and John Hastings, Sean Beyer and Josh Mayeu tied in 4th
