The Monster Cup Series Toyota Save Mart 350 race at Sonoma Raceway started with Kenney Kulikowski capturing the pole and Steven Thomson #67 Ride TV Camry recording the fastest lap of the race. John Hastings and Mike Schrader gained 4 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Kenney Kulikowski dominated the race by leading all 35 laps, going on to capture the win. This week the drivers displayed good communication, which resulted in no cautions with no lead changes and there were no disqualification with 1 disconnect in a 11 car field ending with Kenney Kulikowski capturing his 1st win in the series with Mike Schrader  finishing 2nd, Steven Thomson #67 RideTV 3rd and  Niels Clyde  capturing 4th.

This week the Cup Series moves to a night race for the Toyota Care 400 at Richmond Int’l Raceway with the current points leader Kenney Kulikowski looking to find ways to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
We shall see when the green flag drops at 11:40 am Eastern time.

In the Cup Series point championship, Steven Thomson #67 RideTV in 2nd, Dode Hoskins #66 3rd and Bobby McCormick #31 4th and Mike Schrader #4 in 5th place.
The Richmond race will be intense, and expect to see close battles all over the track.
