The Nascar Xfinity Drive 4 Clots 300 race at Auto Club Speedway started with Tim Matthews on the pole and Steven Thomson Driver of #67 Ride TV Camry setting the fastest lap of the race. John Hastings gained 11 spots for the most positions gained bonus. The race produced many close battles for position through the field with many position changes. Tim Matthews dominated the race by leading the most laps with 42, going on to take the win. This week the drivers showed good communication, which resulted in no cautions with 9 lead changes and there were no disqualifications and no disconnects in a 18 car field The race ended with Tim Matthews capturing his 1st win of the season, Steven Thomson taking 2nd, John Hastings in 3rd and Ted Quincel nabbing 4th.

This week the Nascar Xfinity Series moves to the Fred’s Pharmacy 250 race at Talladega SuperSpeedway with the current points leader Steven Thomson looking to maintain the lead in the series. The question is … can he hold off the charging Old Bastards?
